OFFICIAL OPENING EVENT OF LIME STREET

McCann Bespoke London officially opened its doors in the City of London on the 11th April with special guest former England cricketer Darren Gough.

The new store found at 34-36 Lime street, EC3M 7AT is just outside Leadenhall market and within sight of the Gherkin and Lloyds of London. This will be McCann Bespoke’s third London location and will lead the way in demonstrating their new retail concept - namely, that 21st Century bespoke garments should come at attractive prices without sacrificing on quality or service. The combination of traditional tailoring values and first class customer service with the use of technology such as E-sizing will enable McCann Bespoke to bring this about. This formula which will embrace innovative design with a commitment to providing the finest ethically sourced fabrics in the world has driven the business thus far and made it popular with young professionals, sportsmen and the like.

Now having two premises in central London, keeping the original store in the West End at 237 Shaftesbury Avenue, McCann Bespoke London can boast its breadth and ease of access for business dwellers alike across London.

The flagship store has a slicker, more define look, its a much larger space with much more room for a showcase of specific pieces, particularly with their move more into casual wear extending into jeans, chinos and now shoes, leatherwear and hats. It also offers more of an client space, with more fitting rooms and more lounge areas for the customers needs, along with a more comfortable environment for the tailors to work in.

We had a great offering of non-alcoholic beverages from Lyre’s, which offered liquors, absinthe, gin, vodka etc all in beautiful packages.

Director Neil McCann here with Guy Hipwell, wearing a McCann Bespoke casual flannel jacket.

Neil is confident that his new bespoke boutique emporium will quickly become a favourite hit with City workers, especially as it will include ample space for events and music as he aims to create an after hours environment. He expects the City of London scene to turn the premises into a destination and not just an outlet. With their rapidly expanding client list new customers can expect to be rubbing shoulders with top sportsmen and other A-list celebrities who already make up McCann Bespoke London’s client list.

We shall leave you with a few shots of the night with our team, clients and friends.
